Welcome, Salutations, Shalom, Ohayou and all that
Obligatory "yes, someone new joined the forum" post.
About me? Let's see.... long time systems-builder and game-tinker (I'd say I make games, but I dropped out halfway through my application to Ubisoft to take on a much more stable career)... Built my first online RPG in 2000, featured as top ranked DBZ RPG by Beckett's Best of Dragonball (Sadly, it closed in 2005 or 2006, but all good things, right?). Built a few systems for smaller sites since, but I've been tinkering with a shinobi-based RPG for a few years now (No, I'm not sharing the system for that, but other raw data may end up on the table), but it's slow-going and very, very back-burner, as I spend far too much time at work to have much energy for it (Yes, real life comes first. Gasp.)
Other things... um. I live in Canada, and while it's northern Canada, I know it's not quite as north as you folks (not far off, to be fair, but still...). I have a steady, stable career (completely unpredictable job and hours and whatnot, but it's salary and I'm liable to bring in near to 90k this year, which isn't too shabby IMO) which I won't go into much detail on, here.... Um. I have a puppy and a kitten.... I've played a little D&D in my first year of University (3.5), some Shadowrunner in my 2nd (much preferred this), and I don't play much for conventional games, now. DotA/other WC3-maps, if anything, really.....
Uh, yeah. Going to [try] keeping it brief, so... let's cut it short, here.

Hai, Canadian guy. You are the true north according to your national anthem though, so I'm pretty sure you have a colder winter than I have in Sweden.
I'm jealous about the steady and stable career thing.

You're aware that 30'000 is probably what your parents earn each month, not year, right?

Longitude of where I live is around 55-and-some-change degrees north. Sweden is pretty much exclusively above that.
But -50 and -60 degrees, including windchill, in the winter, sucks. >.<. Stupid Prairies....
